Kingwood in the News Once Again...

Here’s a story for all you Kingwood folk:

Remember Brian White? Of KMS / KHS (and Humble HS) lore. He’s just been charged with murder, eluding police and weapons charges.

As the story goes, he was trying to sell his religious rap CD, “The Book of Brian”, to an ex-Soviet political prisoner at a gas station in Jersey. When the 75 year old man refused, the pious rapper sent him to a martyr’s death by stoning.

The article describes even more disturbing trends, which I’ll let you read for yourself (and I’m afraid that if I say anything more, I will only trivialize it further, which is wrong).

Brian I never really knew, but his brother Bruce was a top-notch guy. I never heard a negative word out of his mouth. My conversations with him were always rather limited; always out on the track or in the locker room, but that kid was a stand-up kid and I wish him the best during storms like these.
